Our Story
Meet Seth & Sandra
Once upon a time there was a lady with lots of chilli in her garden, so she made sweet chilli jam. She would give the jam to her family and friends and even her gym trainers. One of her gym trainers became so obsessed with the sweet chili jam that he started selling it… and so the fun began of S&S Preserves.
From Kitchen to Market
We began selling our jam at local markets and we then moved into local independent, boutique retailers. As demand increased, we outgrew the home kitchen and now lease a commercial kitchen with very large pots so we can make larger quantities.
Our Commitment
We still make this ourselves, with our own hands and the help of our beautiful family and personally deliver our produce to our stockists ourselves, so you are always dealing with us. Why do we do this?… because we are truly passionate and believe our jams are premium. They are different and addictive and are set apart from your run-of-the-mill condiments.

We’re absolutely thrilled to share that our original Sweet Chilli Jam and Mango Chilli Jam both won Silver at the 2026 Australian Food Awards in Melbourne!
What started with a garden full of chillies, a family recipe and a few very enthusiastic taste testers has grown into something we’re incredibly proud of.
